Dwarka Bahuudhheshiya Gramin Vikas Foundation’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana organized One Day National Workshop on 3D Printing in Pharmaceuticals on 11 January 2025. The workshop was inaugurated at the hands of Chairman of the function, Dr.Shirish Jain, Principal of RSCP, Buldhana, Chief Guest, Dr.Shitalkumar Zambad, Managing Director,Thincr Technologies Pvt.Ltd. Pune, and Dr. Bhimarao Gawai, Business Development Professionals. Coconvenor of the workshop Dr. Prakash Kendre, coordinator of the program Dr. Subhash Deshmane and HODs were accompanied during inauguration. More informative and expertise talk on 3D Printing technology in Pharmaceuticals was deliverd by Dr. Zambad and Dr. Jadhao. Dr. Zambad made the audience more familiar with the 3D printing technology by sharing the knowledge of mechanism of printing, the materials used in pharmaceutical development, various applications of 3D printed product as compared to conventional and so on. More than 125 delegates across the nation were registered for the workshop. The convenor of the workshop Dr. Shirish Jain Sir, mentioned in his speech the importance of workshop and need of innovative research in the field of pharmacy. How the current scenario going to change towards tailored dosage form and various applicability of 3D printed medicines was mentioned by Dr. Prakash Kendre in his speech. The overall programme schedule and objectives of the workshop was highlighted by Dr. Subhash Deshmane in his speech. Live demonstration on 3D printer and hands on training make the workshop more truthful to the delegates. In the demonstration PG students and faculty were actively participated in development of 3D printed products. The vote of thanks and anchoring was done by Prof. Somnath Vibhute Sir. To make the programme grand success, all faculty and supporting staff took a lot of efforts.
