Eligibility

To be eligible for First Year Degree Course in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) admission, the candidate should,

    1. Have Indian Nationality.
    2. Have Passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
    3. Have Secured minimum 50% marks (45% for backward class and Physically Handicapped candidates from Maharashtra) in the Subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
    4. Have Non zero score in MHT- CET – 2020, NEET

ADMISSION TO DIPLOMA HOLDER

First Year B. Pharm.

If seats remain vacant, candidates who have secured minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) Examination can be considered for admission to First Year B. Pharm. As per the government Rules.

Second Year B. Pharm.

The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 50.00 % marks (45.00 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level.

To be eligible for First Year Degree Course in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) admission, the candidate should,

  1. To be eligible for First Year Post Graduate Course in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) admission, the candidate should have Indian National
  2. have Passed bachelors degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved institute with at least 50% (at least 45 % marks in case of SC/ST category belongs to Maharashtra state only)

Note: Qualifying the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is compulsory for awarding any fellowship. However, it is mandatory to have positive non zero score in GPAT for seeking admission to the M.Pharmacy course.

Eligibility and Procedure for admission to Ph.D. Programme:

A candidate shall be eligible to apply for admission to Ph.D. programme subjected to fulfillment of the conditions mentioned in ORDINANCE No. 1 of 2016 published by Sant Gadage Baba Amravati University, Amravati dated 10th November, 2016.

Eligibility for admission:

  1. Master of pharmacy Degree of the recognized University with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
  2. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.
  3. Shall have qualified the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University. Provided that, eligible candidates qualifying GPAT criteria shall be exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test as mentioned in ORDINANCE No. 1 of 2016 published by Sant Gadage Baba Amravati University, Amravati dated 10th November, 2016.
