Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy Buldhana’s NSS unit in coordination with IIC and RSCP Spark Club organised guest lecture on the occasion of National Youth Day and Rashtramata Jijau Jayanti on topic “Healthy world healthy diet- Sugnificance of Nutritious diet for Women and Adolescents girls”. Guest speaker for this program was Dr. Sadhana Bhaote who is well-known Physiotherpist and Dietitian of Buldhana District. Program was started with Lamp lightning and paying tribute to Rashtramata Jijau and Swami Vivekanand by Chief Guest and Convener of program. Miss. Rajeshri Pasarkar has sung a song on Rashtramata Jijau. After this Guest Speaker Dr. Sadhana Bhaote madam guided all the students of B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy on said topic. She actively interacted with students and also guided over what should be a possible ideal diet for all the students during their adulthood. She has also provided guidance over how to keep a healthy lifestyle by taking proper diet in very simple language, which was easy to understand by the students. The purpose of arranging such program for first year students is because our visionary principal Dr. Shirish Jain suggests to the NSS program officer that if students follow a proper diet during college,it will be helpful to them to keep themselves fit for study and mental health.Wallspace activities on this National Youth Day was also evaluated and appreciate by Dr. Sadhana Bhaote. Dr. Shailesh Kewatkar and Mr. Rohit Salkute (NSS Program Officers) served as coordinators for this initiative, which was co-convened by Dr. Prakash Kendre, head of the IQAC. Prof. Mangesh Deokar,Prof Dipak Bhusari , Prof. Aarati Kale and all teaching staff were present at this moment. From students Miss.Samiksha Dandge and Miss. Monali Kakade also expressed their views. Miss. Neha Ukey was anchor of this event and vote of thanks has been expressed by Miss. Arpita Khapre. All NSS volunteers were worked hard to make this program successful. At the end Dr. Shirish Jain, honorable principal, has congratulated all the coordinators and team for the arrangement and conduction of an event on much needed and important topic. Students and all the attendees were also benefitted by this event. All the attendees has given positive feedback about the event.
