The Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) has initiated a plan, under the guidance from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, to celebrate the first ever “National Current Good Manufacturing Practices Day” (National cGMP Day) on October 10th, 2023. We highly appreciate the initiative taken by the IDMA. Responding to this initiative; we have celebrated National cGMP Day by conducting a special guidance session on this topic on virtual platform. We invited Mr. Sachin Gundecha, Sr. Manager, Regulatory Affairs Gennova Biopharmaceuticals, Pune to guide us on this occasion. Principal Dr. Shirish Jain welcomed Mr. Gundecha by offering e-bouquet. During his discussion he covered various aspects of cGMP and highlighted its the importance. It was an interactive session where students raised their queries and Mr. Gundecha addressed them effectively. The students expressed their happiness about this activity. Along with Principal Dr. Shirish Jain; Vice-principal Dr. Prakash Kendre and other faculty members attended this session. The session was hosted by our M. Pharmacy student Ms. Namrata More whereas Mr. Aditya Nagwe expressed gratitude.
