Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik has been organized state level inter-university Research Convention for Students – Avishkar 2024 from 12th January 2024 to 15th January 2024 for participants selected in university level. The 3 entries (2-PG and 1-PPG) from Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy (RSCP), Buldana has been selected at university level and invited to represent Sant Gagde Baba Amravati University, Amravati at state level inter-university Research Convention for Students – Avishkar 2024. A first round of poster presentations was held on 13th January 2024, and our one entry (1-PPG) passed this round and qualified for the second round of oral presentations on 14th January 2024.
In Medicine and Pharmacy Category, our student Kasmira Malusare presented a poster on topic “Nootropic and scopolamine induced anti-amnesic effect of empagliflozin in wistar rats possible involvement of M1 receptor by molecular docking studies” and received a certificate of participation. She was working under the guidance of Prof. Sachin Borikar, Assistant Professor from Department of Pharmacology. Prof. Sachin Borikar himself also presented a poster, secured a rank for oral presentation at PPG level and received a participation certificate for presenting his research work on title “Empagliflozin Amellionates OBX induced depression in diabetic rodents: Possible Involvement of BDNF”. He was guided by Dr. Shirish Jain sir, Principal, RSCP, Buldana.
In Pure Science category, Namrata More presented a poster title “Nano emulsion based transdermal delivery of curcumin and capsaicin: an innovative approach for treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis” and received a certificate of participation in PG level. She was guided by Dr. Prakash Kendre, Vice-Principal, RSCP, Buldana.
