Session on “Decoding GPAT and NIPER: Tips and Tricks for Excellence”

Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana, organized an insightful guest lecture titled “Decoding GPAT and NIPER: Tips and Tricks for Excellence” on 30th December 2024. The session was delivered by Ms. RadhaKalmegh, a distinguished alumna of RSCP, who is currently working as a Business Analyst at Genpact, Bengaluru. Ms. Kalmegh holds an M.S. degree from NIPER Hyderabad and completed her B.Pharm from RSCP Buldhana.

The lecture commenced with a warm welcome by the faculty and students. Ms. Kalmegh shared her journey from being a pharmacy student at RSCP to becoming a successful professional and NIPER alumnus.

During the session, Ms. Radha Kalmegh provided a comprehensive overview of the GPAT and NIPER exam patterns, emphasizing the importance of understanding the syllabus, subject weightage, and marking schemes. She highlighted the value of analyzing previous years’ question papers to identify recurring topics and trends. Her insights on effective preparation strategies included practical tips on time management, prioritizing high-weightage subjects like Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and the significance of regular mock tests, MCQ practice, and consistent revision.

Ms. Kalmegh also discussed the diverse career opportunities available after qualifying GPAT and NIPER, ranging from research and academic roles to positions in the pharmaceutical industry. Drawing from her personal experience, she shared insights into her current role as a Business Analyst at Genpact and explained how her education at NIPER played a pivotal role in shaping her career. To motivate students, she emphasized the importance of maintaining a disciplined study schedule, staying positive, and overcoming challenges with determination. Her personal anecdotes provided a relatable and inspiring perspective for the students.

The session was interactive, with students actively participating and asking questions about their preparation strategies and career paths. Ms. Kalmegh provided detailed and practical advice tailored to their queries.
