RSCPians participated in Youth Festival 2025

The Youth Festival 2025-26 was jointly organized by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU) and Smt. Kesharbai Lahoti College, Amravati. Under the valuable guidance of our respected Principal Dr. Shirish Jain, the Youth Festival Incharges — Mr. Rohit Salkute, Ms. Meena Bhalake, and Ms. Dwiptesha Dahake — took the responsibility of leading and coordinating the college’s participation in this grand event.
A total of 36 students from our college enthusiastically participated in various categories, including Theatre, Music, Literary Events, and Fine Arts. The event was inaugurated on 7th October 2025 in the esteemed presence of dignitaries from SGBAU, marking the beginning of an energetic and creative four-day celebration.
On the first day, all literary events were conducted, where our students showcased their linguistic and intellectual abilities. On the second day, our college teams participated in the Indian Group Song, Poster Making, and On-the-Spot Painting competitions under the guidance of Prof. Rohit Salkute. The third day witnessed active participation from RSCP students in One Act Play, Skit, Folk Dance, and Mime events, guided by Prof. Meena Bhalake and Prof. Dwiptesha Dahake. On the final day, various art-related events such as Rangoli, Mehendi, and Qawwali were conducted, where our students displayed exceptional creativity and artistic flair. The Valedictory Function was held on 10th October 2025, during which the winners of different events were felicitated for their achievements. The festival served as a vibrant platform for students to explore and express their hidden talents while experiencing teamwork, leadership, and cultural exchange. Throughout the festival, Prof. Rohit Salkute also served as an Observer, appointed by the orders of the Vice-Chancellor, SGBAU, contributing significantly to the smooth and successful conduct of the event. The entire management and our Principal, Dr. Shirish Jain, appreciated the commendable efforts of the Youth Festival coordinators, faculty mentors, and all participating students for their enthusiastic representation of the college at the Inter-College Youth Festival 2025-26.
The four-day festival was truly a memorable experience, fostering creativity, collaboration, and youth leadership — a celebration of talent and spirit that enriched everyone involved.
