“Vachan Prerana Din” Celebrated at Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana
The NSS Unit of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana organized a special program on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, observed as “Vachan Prerana Din” to inspire students to cultivate the habit of reading.
The event featured a guest session by Mr. Santosh Gore sir, Secretary of Vivekanand Ashram, Hiwara, who delivered an inspiring speech filled with thought-provoking examples to motivate students toward personal growth through reading and learning.
Dr. Shirish Jain, President of the program, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of developing a regular reading habit to enhance knowledge and character.
A felicitation ceremony was also held, during which Mr. Vinod Patil (Librarian), Mr. Rau Sir, and Ms. Sandhya Mhaske Madam were honored by the Principal in recognition of their contributions on this special occasion.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Prakash Kendre (IQAC Head), Dr. Shailesh Kewatkar, Dr. Ashish Gawai, along with all teaching and non-teaching staff members, and a large number of enthusiastic students.
The program was successfully coordinated by Mr. Rohit P. Salkute (NSS Program Officer) and Ms. Meena Bhalake. Mr. Tushar Chavhan anchored the program, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Sarang Darokar.
The event served as a motivational platform to instill the love for reading among students, inspired by the life and vision of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
