Institute Innovation Council, RajarshiShahu College of Pharmacy,Buldhana, OrganizedOffline Quarter I Activity on “Demonstration of instruments throughsoftware-based learning”, on 26thNovember 2025 at 10.30 AM. The activity was organized specially for post graduate students and approximately 35 students were actively participated and benefited from this workshop.
There were three software based demonstrationplanned and conducted in the laboratory of pharmacology in which first demonstration was conducted by Mr. Sachin Borikar and he highlighted the objectives, principle, importance, working of Master maze software (VJ Instrument) an animal behavioral tool used in preclinical research for the assessment of neuropharmacological screening of drugs.
Second demonstration was conducted by Dr. ShrikantKirwaleone of the faculty members of Pharmacology department, he had given the demonstration of Rota-rod apparatus, Plethysmometer along with application of all type of mazes utilized in screening of pharmacological drugs in preclinical research.
In the third demonstration Dr. DeepakLokwani, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, emphasized the importance of computational tools such as Schrödinger and Desmond in the drug discovery process. He demonstrated the workflow of molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation using this software.
