Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana, in collaboration with Mera Yuva Bharat, successfully organized a Voters Awareness Drive on the occasion of National Voters’ Day, 25th December 2026, with the objective of creating awareness among students and citizens about the importance of voting and active democratic participation.
The President of the program was Dr. Shirish Jain, Principal, Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy. The Chief Guest for the program was Shri Shyam Bhambale(Nayab Tahsildar). Other distinguished guests included Shri Ravi Sarode (Tahsil Karyalay, Buldhana), Shri Samadhan Chinchole (Tahsil Karyalay, Buldhana), Shri Dhananjay Chafekar (Mera Yuva Bharat), and Shri Ajaysingh Rajput.
The program commenced with the felicitation of the dignitaries, followed by the felicitation of newly registered voters from Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy who were present on the dais, motivating young students to actively participate in the democratic process.
On behalf of Mera Yuva Bharat, Dr. Shirish Jain (Principal) was honored with a memento by Mr. Dhananjay Chafekar and Mr Ajaysigh Rajput in recognition of his active support and valuable contribution to various social activities.
Thereafter, the Voters’ Pledge was administered by the President of the program to all the guests, faculty members, and students, reinforcing commitment towards responsible and ethical voting. Following this, an Awareness Rally was organized and flagged off with a green signal in the presence of all dignitaries. Dr. Prakash Kendre (Vice Principal), Dr.Ashish Gawai, Dr. Dipak Bhusari, and Prof. Satish Shelke , Prof. Sagar Tarapure, Prof. Ashish Pawar were also present on the occasion.
The event was efficiently organized by Mr. Rohit Salkute (NSS Program Officer) along with Mrs. Meena Bhalake, Mr. Akash Chafekar (Mera Yuva Bharat), and Mr. Akash Salok (Mera Yuva Bharat). The successful conduction of the program was supported by Mr. Abdul Mateen, Mr. Majid, Mr. Pramod Varankar, and the NSS volunteers of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy.
