A guest lecture on “Career Prospect in Pharmaceutical Industry and Guidance on Various MBA Entrance Examinations” was organized by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) and Competitive Exam Cell of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana, on 27 February 2026 from 11:30 AM to 02:30 PM in the seminar hall. The session was delivered by Mr. Santosh Wagh, Assistant Professor, Pharmaceutical & Agri Business Management, Ramachandran International Institute of Management (RIIM), Pune.
During the lecture, Mr. Wagh provided comprehensive insights into the diverse career opportunities available for pharmacy graduates in areas such as production, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, clinical research, pharmacovigilance, and pharmaceutical marketing. He emphasized the growing importance of pursuing an MBA after pharmacy for securing managerial positions and enhancing career growth. He also guided students about various MBA entrance examinations including CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, and MAH-MBA-CET, explaining their structure, preparation strategies, and career benefits. The session was highly interactive, and students actively engaged by asking questions related to career planning, higher education, and management opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector. The lecture proved to be highly informative and motivational, helping students gain clarity about their future career paths and encouraging them to prepare for competitive examinations and management education.
