The online session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Day was organized on 29 April 2026 at Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, to create awareness among students and faculty members about the importance of intellectual property, innovation protection, patents, copyrights, trademarks, and related legal rights. The session aimed to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among participants. The Institution’s Innovation Council organized an online session in celebration of World Intellectual Property Rights Day. The program started with a welcome address by the coordinator Dr. S. M. Kewatkar, followed by an introduction to the significance of IPR in academic and industrial sectors. Principal, Dr. S. P. Jain welcome the resource person by offering e- bouquet. The session also included an interactive question-and-answer segment where participants clarified their doubts regarding patent applications and innovation protection. The online IPR Day session was successfully conducted with active participation from students and faculty members. The program helped in spreading awareness about Intellectual Property Rights and encouraged innovation and creativity among participants. The anchor Ms. Sangita Chavan smoothly conducted the session and coordinated the interaction between participants and the speaker.
