Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy celebrated Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din with great enthusiasm and cultural pride on the occasion of the birth anniversary of renowned Marathi poet and literary legend Kusumagraj. The program was organized with the objective of promoting the richness, heritage, and importance of the Marathi language among students and staff members.
The celebration commenced with the floral tribute and remembrance of Kusumagraj, whose remarkable contribution to Marathi literature and social awareness continues to inspire generations. The event highlighted the significance of preserving and promoting regional languages as an essential part of Indian culture and identity.
On this occasion, Dr. Prakash Kendre, Heads of Departments, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff members were present in large numbers. The entire program was conducted in Marathi, and all participants enthusiastically communicated, shared their thoughts, and expressed their views in the Marathi language, making the celebration meaningful and inspiring.
Faculty members spoke about the importance of Marathi language in education, literature, administration, and day-to-day life. They encouraged students to take pride in their mother tongue and contribute towards preserving Marathi literature and cultural values.
