National cGMP Day, observed on 10 October, is associated with the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) and highlights the importance of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in ensuring the consistent quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products.
On this occasion, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Shirish Jain, Career Development Cell of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana, successfully organized a virtual expert session on 10 October 2026.
We were privileged to welcome Mr. Vaijnath Sonvale, Lead GMP Auditor at SRS Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., as the resource person. With his expertise in GMP auditing, Regulatory Affairs, and Lean Six Sigma, he shared valuable insights into GMP compliance, quality assurance, and the practical implementation of quality management systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The session was highly interactive, providing students with an opportunity to engage directly with the industry expert. Students actively raised queries related to GMP compliance, auditing practices, and pharmaceutical quality management, which were thoughtfully addressed by Mr. Sonvale through his practical insights and professional experience.
The session enhanced students’ understanding of industry expectations and reinforced the importance of building a strong quality culture in the pharmaceutical sector.
At RSCP, we remain committed to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices through expert interactions and meaningful learning opportunities.
The event was coordinated by OSD Dr. Somnath Vibhute. Our PG students Miss Vishakha Tabade hosted the event and Miss Shivani Doifode proposed the vote of thanks.
