Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy (RSCP), Buldhana, successfully conducted the Institute Level Aavishkar 2026-27 on 10th October 2026 as the intra-institutional screening for the Student Research Convention – Aavishkar 2026-27, organized by the Aavishkar Cell, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU), Amravati. Students were invited to register their research ideas, posters and models through an online registration form, and a total of 38 entries with around 70 UG, PG and PPG students were received.
The participants presented their work in all six Aavishkar categories – Humanities, Languages & Fine Arts; Commerce, Management & Law; Pure Sciences; Agriculture & Animal Husbandry; Engineering & Technology; and Medicine & Pharmacy. A panel of Heads of Departments (HODs) of RSCP evaluated each presentation for concept and innovation, methodology and presentation, and defense and critical thinking, and gave suggestions to improve the posters and models before the next level.
Based on the evaluation, the panel reviewed the suitable category for each entry and shortlisted students to represent RSCP at the District Level Aavishkar. As per Aavishkar norms, only two entries per level (UG, PG and PPG) in each category were permitted, and selections were made accordingly. A total of 30 entries (12 UG, 12 PG and 6 PPG) were selected for the District Level Aavishkar.
Principal Dr. Shirish Jain appreciated the efforts of all participants and their mentors and extended best wishes to the selected students for the District Level Aavishkar. The screening was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the HODs, faculty mentors and the Aavishkar committee of RSCP.
The Institute Level Aavishkar 2026-27 has encouraged students to take up research and innovation and has prepared them to compete confidently at the district, university and state levels.
