The “Banmahotsava” is the great social event conducted every year in the institute under the NSS activity by planting trees in the college campus & Forest office department building area. The main purpose of this tree plantation to create awareness about the importance of plant in our life & to maintain the environmental balance.
Along with forest Dept. of Dist Buldhana, Maharashtra Govt. and institute has decided to plant different species of plant in the college, in campus of Forest office department building area and in forest area near buldhana.
Inauguration of the plantation were done by the plantation neem tree by the hand of Principal Dr. S.P. Jain Sir, Chief guest Mr. Thorat sir (Forest Department head of Buldhana), Mr. Gajanan Ghirke sir(Drug Inspector, Buldhana) were present.
Principal Dr. S.P. Jain Sir addressed to the students about the importance of tree in our life & explains how it is integral part of lifecycle. Also they insisted students that don’t only plant the trees but also take care of them to grow.
In this plantation program, students performed street play on theme of Plantation of Trees and then planted 50 trees in above mentioned places. During this event Dr. Subhash Deshmane, Mr. Mangesh Deokar, Mrs. Snehal Deshmane(Womans Program Officer), Mr. Saddam Chand, Mr. Amol Ghodke & Mr. Rohit Salkute(NSS Program Officer), the college students & NSS volunteers participated to make this plantation drive successful.
