Competitive Examination Cell, Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana, organised a guest lecture on “Career Guidance, GPAT Exam Preparation and Development of Soft Skills.” The session was conducted by Mr. Rupesh Choure, HOD, GDC Offline Centre, Latur.
The lecture provided students with valuable guidance regarding career opportunities after B. Pharm, including GPAT, NIPER, Drug Inspector, Pharma MBA, Pharmacist careers, and opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. The speaker also discussed important GPAT/NIPER preparation strategies, examination patterns, major pharmaceutical institutes, and NIPER opportunities.
A major focus of the session was on smart study techniques, particularly conceptual learning, spaced repetition, active recall, regular revision, and effective time management. Students were encouraged to follow a balanced 60:40 learning-to-revision strategy and maintain consistency in their preparation.
The session also included exam-oriented revision of important Pharmacy topics, with emphasis on pharmacognosy, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, dissolution apparatus and important name reactions.
Overall, the guest lecture was highly informative and motivating, helping students understand career pathways, competitive examination opportunities and effective strategies for achieving success in GPAT, NIPER and other competitive examinations.
