Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati has organized Research Convention for Students – Avishkar 2023 at district level for Buldana district at Mauli Group of Institution’s College of Engineering and Technology, Shegaon, Buldhana on dated 20th Dec 2023. The 19 groups of students (10-UG, 7-PG and 2-PPG level) from Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy (RSCP), Buldana has participated in various category. The overall activities of participation of RSCP students were coordinated by Dr. Deepak Lokwani, Associated Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In Medicine and Pharmacy Category, our students Manisha Gawande and Shubham Rathod, presented a poster titled “Modified Elevated Plus Maze (EPM) in Neuropsychological Activity” secured third rank at UG level. Similarly, Kasmira Malusare presented a poster titled “Nootropic and scopolamine induced anti-amnesic effect of empagliflozin in wistar rats possible involvement of M1 receptor by molecular docking studies” and secured a first rank at PG level. Sanjana Bali and Nikita Tharkar secured a second rank at PG level for a poster titled “Unexplore Potential of Phospholipid as a Carrier in Solid Dispersion: Characterization, Drug Release, and Bioavailability study”. Prof. Sachin Borikar, Assistant Professor from Department of Pharmacology also secured a second rank at PPG level for presenting his research work on title “Empagliflozin Amellionates OBX induced depression in diabetic rodents: Possible Involvement of BDNF”. In Pure Science category, our students Suyog Shelke and Aditya Kakad has secured a first rank at UG level for presenting a poster on title “Herbal Buffer for Gastritis”. At PG level, Ashish Umale and Mamata Chavan presented a poster titled “Anxiolytic Potential of Empagliflozin in Diabetic Mice: Possible Involvement of GABA an evidence of Molecular Docking Study” and secured a first rank. Namrata More and Mayuri Chavan presented a poster title “Nano emulsion based transdermal delivery of curcumin and capsaicin: an innovative approach for treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis” and secured a second rank in PG level. In Agriculture and Animal Husbandry category, Vaijayanti Sable and Payal Rathod presented a model on titled “Algae as Biofilters: Enhancing Air quality” and secured a second rank at UG level. Shivshankar Nagrik and Vaibhav Bharad also presented a model on titled “Incubation for Chicken Eggs – Model” and secured a first rank at PG level. Pramod Aghao and Pooja Nishad secured a second rank at PG level has presented a poster on titled “Microbiota Seed Dressing”.

The overall performance of RSCP students was excellent, and we got 10 awards in several categories, including four in medicine and pharmacy (one at the UG, two at the PG, and one at the PPG level), three in pure science (one at the UG and two at the PG level), and three in agriculture and animal husbandry (one at the UG and two at the PG level).

We are only college in Buldana district who secured 10 awards at SGBAU organized District Level Avishkar 2023.

The Hon’ble Management and Respected Principal of RSCP, Buldhana have appreciated and congratulated all winner and other student participants for their efforts and dedications for their project works.
