The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana, organized a guest lecture on 06th June 2025 for B. Pharm First Year students on the theme “Pharma Innovation to Startup: Achieving Value & Business Fit.”
The session was conducted by Mr. Sachin P. Borikar, Assistant Professor, and featured Dr. Kuldeep U. Bansod, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Pharmacy, Govt. Polytechnic, Jalgaon, as the keynote speaker.
Dr. Bansod emphasized the importance of foundational pharmaceutical knowledge like Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology in driving innovation. He connected scientific learning with business concepts, encouraging students to transform academic insights into startup ideas. His talk explored research fundamentals, drug discovery, and lean startup methodologies, offering a roadmap for aspiring innovators in the healthcare sector.
A total of 103 students benefited from this lecture. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Kashmira Malusare, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, RSCP Buldhana.
