IQAC initiatives
The well-established IQAC plays the major role in college growth decisions, including infrastructural and academic development, through decentralization and accountability in all administrative decisions. The IQAC helps to develop a quality culture in institution by making ideas for college improvement while maintaining a student-centric perspective in mind.
- The IQAC assist Management, Principal, and other committees by providing excellent suggestions and effective measures to ensure consistency.
- The IQAC arranges a schedule of meetings with various departments at beginning of each session to assess their progress on a monthly basis. Departments are assessed during scheduled meetings to discuss their academic progress, attendance records, quantity of syllabi completed, assignments, and student presentations, etc.
- IQAC organized seminars/workshops, guest lectures, faculty and student orientation programs, certificate courses etc. for curriculum enrichment and enhancement on various topic like Drug design, Spectroscopy, Campus Recruitment Training, Recent Trends in Pharmacology Research, Current Scenario of Indian Pharma Industry and many more.
- The IQAC also organised AICTE sponsored STTP program in four slots on topic “Educational Program for Pharmacy Teachers on Orientation of Recently Admitted Students”.
- With efforts of IQAC, to promote overall development of students, an RSCP-spark activities was carried out which involve presentation, group discussion, communication skills, and soft Skills for students.
- With efforts of IQAC, TPEDC, and IIIC, RSCP-Internship was conducted for students to develop ‘Corporate Behaviour and Soft Skills’ of students. This involve various pre-placement and post-placement skills like career selection, resume writing, e-mail etiquettes, extempore talk skills, etc.
- IQAC strengthened the research culture in college. The IQAC and Research Committee support faculties to submit research projects for grants, research papers, patents, book/book chapters for publications in journal of high repute.
- IQAC also encouraged students to seek for internships at local industries, and numbers of students have now finished their research projects in the industry.
