Rajarshi Shahu College of pharmacy, Buldana’s Department of Pharmacognosy has organized a One day National Symposium on “Relevance of chemical standardization and Innocuousness in the process of development of herbal medicines.” for Academician, Industrialist and Pharmacy students of PG and UG on 13/08/2022. The event was graced with the presence of Dr. M. K. Mohan Maruga Raja sir, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry, Parul Institute of Pharmacy & Research, Parul University, Limda, Waghodia – 391760, Vadodara, Gujarat (India), Dr. Sayeed Ahmad Coordinator, Centre of Excellence in Unani Medicine (Pharmacognosy & Pharmacology) Bioactive Natural Product Laboratory School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, India and Mr. Siddhesh Tari, Anchrom Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai. India. Hon’ble Dhrupatraoji Sawle, President of Dwarka Bahuuddeshiya Gramin Vikas Foundation was the chief guest at the symposium. The guest were felicitated by Hon’ble S. P. Jain, Principal, RSCP, Buldana. Dr. Shailesh Kewatkar was co-ordinator of the event. Dr. Deepak Lokwani, Dr. Gaurav Harlalka and Dr. Sangam Kanthale has introduced the guest speakers. In the lecture, Dr. M. K. Mohan Maruga Raja sir talked on Relevance of chemical Standardization in synergistic multi-target approach of herbal medicines, Dr. Sayeed Ahmad sir had a talk on Metabolomics in quality control and drug discovery from natural products and Mr. Siddhesh Tari has explored the HPTLC techniques and its application in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. P. N. Kendre has explored the importance of such symposium for students. Dr. S. P. Jain Sir has given the conclusive remarks for the national symposium. Mr. Satish Shelke has shared the achievements of RSCP infornt of the delegates. Dr. Shailesh M Kewatkar has explain the chemical standardization of herbal medicines and how it is helpful and must for the discovery of herbal medicines. At the end of the event Dr. Shubhash Deshmane has expressed vote of thanks to all attendees. All the attendees were satisfied with the talk and content and appreciated the lecture with their valuable feedback.
