Online Guest Lecture on the occassion of National start up day

An online Guest lecture was organized on the occasion of “National Startup Day” through the Google Meet platform on 16th Jan 2026 with the objective of guiding students toward informed career planning, skill development, and innovation-oriented professional opportunities. The session aimed to encourage students to develop an enterprise-focused mindset aligned with current academic and industry requirements.

The resource person for the session was Dr. Prof. Pravin V. Buge, a Certified Career Counselor and Corporate Trainer, widely recognized for his expertise in career counseling, competency assessment, and professional development. During the lecture, Dr. Buge emphasized the importance of self-assessment, goal setting, and continuous skill enhancement while making academic and career decisions. He provided valuable guidance to Diploma students, graduates, and working professionals, highlighting the need to align personal interests and competencies with suitable career pathways. The session also addressed the importance of lifelong learning and adaptability in a rapidly changing professional environment.

In the context of National Startup Day, the speaker encouraged students to adopt innovative, creative, and proactive thinking. He explained how an enterprise-oriented mindset is essential not only for entrepreneurship but also for professional growth and leadership. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to raise questions related to career selection and skill development, which were addressed effectively.The program was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. S. P. Jain sir, with support from the IIC Coordinator, Dr. S. M. Kewatkar sir, and effective coordination by the Program Coordinator, Miss S. R. Chavan mam, with active participation from faculty members and students.
