Our Staff delivered an invited talk on “Molecular Dynamics in Drug Discovery and Pharmaceuticals: Methodology and Applications”

Dr. Deepak Lokwani from Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana, delivered an invited talk on “Molecular Dynamics in Drug Discovery and Pharmaceuticals: Methodology and Applications” on dated 28th August 2025 during the 5-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) organized by BM College of Pharmacy, Gurugram, held from 26thto 30thAugust 2025 in online mode.

The session highlighted the fundamentals and applications of molecular dynamics (MD) simulations in modern pharmaceutical sciences, with emphasis on methodology, computational approaches, and their role in drug discovery and development. The talk provided participants with valuable insights into how MD can be effectively integrated into pharmaceutical research to study biomolecular interactions, optimize lead molecules, and predict drug behaviour at the molecular level.

The session was well-received by faculty participants, and exchange of ideas on advancing computational approaches in pharmaceutical research.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Mamta (Principal & Convener), Dr. Seema Chahar Beniwal (Co-Convener), and Asif Ahmad Bhat (Coordinator) for their efforts in organizing this impactful event and for their kind appreciation. A special note of gratitude to Dr. Shirish Jain, Principal, Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, for his constant motivation, support, and encouragement.

The FDP provided a valuable platform for academic interaction and knowledge-sharing, and we look forward to more such opportunities that contribute to the growth of the scientific community.
