Association of Pharmacy Teachers of India (APTI), had organized its 25th annual conference at JSS college of Pharmacy, Mysore. The conference was held on 2nd Sept-4th Sept,2022. Two faculty members namely Dr. V P Sonar and Dr. D K Lokwani have attended the conference along with respected Principal Dr. S P Jain, sitting vice-president of APTI (Maharashtra State). Dr. V P Sonar presented his work in poster format on a topic entitled “GABAA Receptor Modulators and Ferulic Acid Esters from Withania Somnifera.” Dr. D K Lokwani had presented his work entitled “Development of Thiazolidin-4-one Derivatives as EGFR Inhibitors Targeting Resistance in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)”
2nd September was the inaugural function and award ceremony of the APTI. On 3rd and 4th September there were plenary sessions of the invited speakers and the poster presentations of the delegates. Program was concluded on the evening of 4th September in a valedictory function. Entire conference was organized by JSS college of Pharmacy, Mysore. We had a very good interaction with the delegates came from across the India. Fruitful discussion with Dr. Sohan Chitlange, Dr. V K Redasani, Dr. P D Chaudhari, Dr. Rakesh Somani, Dr. S B Bari, Dr. A U Tatiya etc have surely helped us to get a broader view of future academics.
We are thankful to the APTI organizing committee for their support and assistance. We offer a special gratitude to Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana and our Principal sir for their motivation and financial support. Institute has provided 100% funding for attending the conference.
