Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana, the first convocation event for the B.Pharm batches of 2018–22 and 2019–23

On August 10, 2024 (a Saturday), in the seminar hall of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana, the first convocation event for the B.Pharm batches of 2018–22 and 2019–23 was held. The chief guest, Hon’ble Dr. Vikasji Bahekar, a well-known ophthalmologist from the Vidharbh region of Maharashtra, gave the ceremony its start through Godess Ma Sarswati Pujan. The Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy Principal, Hon. Dr. Shirish Jain, served as the event’s chairperson. Members were accompanied on stage by Dr. Prakash Kendre, vice-principal and academic coordinator, Dr. Subhash Deshmane, At the beginning of the ceremony at RSCP, the Chief Guest was introduced and congratulated on his accomplishments. Dr. Subhash Deshmane, who is the academic coordinator, delivered the welcome speech of the event. While delivering his speech, the head of the IQAC, Dr. Prakash Kendre Sir, recalled the students’ tireless work throughout their academic careers. The Chief Guest delivered a motivational speech to the graduates, during which he urged the students to remember their own personal value systems, work ethics, and humanity. The words “be distinct or extinct” and “network is your net worth” were among the motivational statements that Dr. Bahekar said during his address. Finally, he came to a conclusion by stating that the fundamental principles of life include a practice as follows: “have a passion with compassion, add little humility to our ability, add little nobility to your mobility, and succeed with integrity and achieve with humility and be what you want to be.” Over the course of the keynote talk, Dr. Shirish Jain Sir expressed his belief that the future of the pharmacist is quite promising in every region of the world. Specifically, he stated that the institute is focusing its goal on research, education, and the development of skills. In addition to that, he advised the pupils to be vivacious, passionate, materialistic, and uniquely themselves. The convocation ceremony was attended by a total of 31 and 65 students from the 2018-23 and 2019-23 academic years, respectively, who were recipients of their degrees.
