Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana, paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on the occasion of his 135th birth anniversary.
On this occasion, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Shirish Jain and in collaboration with Mera Yuva Bharat, the NSS unit organized various programs to commemorate Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti.
The program began with a floral tribute ceremony, where the Principal, Heads of Departments, teaching and non-teaching staff offered garlands and flowers to the portrait of Babasaheb. Distinguished faculty members including Dr. Prakash Kendre, Dr. Ashish Gawai, Dr. Shailesh Kewatkar, Dr. Dipak Bhusari, Dr. Rushikesh Diware, Prof. Prashant Ingle, and Prof. Vaishnavi Pawar were present to pay their respects.
Following the tribute, Prof. Rohit P. Salkute, Mr. Prathamesh Lavhale, Ms. Ashwini Verulkar, and Ms. Priyanka Shelke expressed their thoughts on the life, teachings, and values of Babasaheb Ambedkar, highlighting his contributions to society and the Constitution of India.
As part of the program, the Preamble Oath was administered and signed by all present staff members and NSS volunteers. A cleanliness drive was also conducted within the campus to promote social responsibility and civic awareness.
