Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy Team Secures Third Place in Inter-College Volleyball Tournament

A volleyball tournament for college teachers from Buldhana city and nearby areas was organized in memory of Late Heramb Deol under the leadership of Shri Deol Sir, Shri Shashikant Pawar Sir, and their associates from Bharat Vidyalaya from 15th to 17th April 2026. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 24 teams representing various educational institutions.

Representing Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, the Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy Team A delivered an outstanding performance and proudly secured the prestigious Third Prize along with a trophy in the competition.

The team members included:

  6. Vijay Jain

The team showcased remarkable coordination, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. With excellent performances during the league matches, the team successfully advanced to the quarterfinals. Continuing their impressive teamwork and consistent performance, they further secured a place in the semifinals.

Although the team faced defeat against the Bharat Mahavidyalaya team in the semifinal match, they displayed exceptional resilience and enthusiasm in the playoff match for the third position. In a thrilling and highly energetic encounter that captivated the audience, the team defeated the renowned Rajiv Gandhi Military School team and secured the honorable third-place trophy.

Notably, this was the first participation of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy in the tournament, and despite being debut participants, Team A won the hearts of organizers, fellow players, and spectators through their extraordinary gameplay and sportsmanship.

The management, faculty members, and students of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy extended heartfelt congratulations to all six team members for their commendable achievement and wished them continued success in future sports events.
