The 17th Maharashtra State Inter-University Research Convention (Aavishkar 2024-25) was hosted at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, from 12th to 15th January 2025, for participants selected at the university level.
The six students from Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy (RSCP), Buldhana (one in UG, four in PG, and one in PPG across the various categories) were cleared the University Level competition and qualified for the state-level competition. The first round of poster presentations took place on 13th January 2025, where participant at PPG level has been selected for the second round of podium presentations held on 14th January 2025.
The Hon’ble Management and Respected Principal of RSCP, Buldhana have appreciated and congratulated participants for their efforts and dedications for their project work.

Prof. Sachin Borikar (Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology) presented his work at PPG Level on project titled “Empagliflozin Improves CUMS Induced Depression in Diabetic Mice Possibly via CRF-1 Receptor”, under the guidance of Dr. Shirish Jain, Principal, RSCP, Buldhana.
Bhagyashri Kailas Auti presented a poster at PG Level titled “Pharmacological Evaluation of Clitoria Ternetea Flower Extract on Letrozole Induced Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome: A Comprehensive Study in Female Wistar Rats”, Guided by Mrs. Manisha Jawale, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology.
Shubham Rajusing Rathod presented a model at UG Level titled “Innovative Restraining Device for Stress-Free Intravenous Administration in Mice and Rats”, Guided by Ms. Vaishnavi Patil, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology.

Pranav Santosh Zore presented a project at PG Level titled “Antidepressant Potential of Empagliflozin in Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Depression in Diabetic C57BL/6 Mice”, Guided by Prof. Sachin Borikar, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology.

Sakshi Rajendra Chavat presented a project at PG Level titled “Towards Sustainable Packaging: Innovations in Agricultural By-Products and the Role of Sugarcane Bagasse”, Guided by Dr. Deepak Lokwani, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Mansi Ganesh Karnade presented a poster at PG Level titled “Development of an Improved Tail Suspension Apparatus for Behavioral Analysis in Rodents”, Guided by Dr. Shailesh Kewatkar, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy.
