Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana hosted a four-day workshop on the topic “Skill Development Program” sponsored by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati for Final Y. B. Pharm students from October 25th to October 28th, 2023. The workshop commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Prakash Kendre, the Vice-Principal of RSCP, who also welcomed the first day’s guest speaker, Prof. Vaibhav Adhao from Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur. Dr. Deepak Lokwani provided an overview of the program’s four-day schedule, which encompassed a total of ten informative sessions. On the first day of workshop, the eminent speaker discussed topics such as motivation and goal setting on the first day. On the second day, Prof. Vaibhav Adhao elaborated on various soft skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication, teamwork, time management, character, morals, and ethics.
The third day of program featured a warm greet by the Respected Principal, Dr. Shirish Jain, who welcome Prof. Harshali Patil from Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering in Shegaon, District Buldana. Prof. Patil guided the students on the finer points of group discussions, resume writing, and interview skills. On the fourth and final day, Dr. Raju Thenge, from Dr. Rajendra Gode College of Pharmacy, Malkapur, District Buldana, shared valuable insights on presentation skills and effective time management. All the eminent speakers added an engaging dimension to the learning experience by incorporating a variety of interactive activities. Dr. Deepak Lokwani addressed the students at the valedictory function, congratulating them on their successful completion of the programme.
