The State Level Technical Quiz Competition was successfully conducted on 02nd February 2026 at Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana. The event aimed to foster technical knowledge, enhance competitive spirit, and provide a platform for students to showcase their analytical and problem-solving skills. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from various pharmacy institutes.
REGISTRATION:
Registration is started at 09:30am. During the registration process, 24 teams (48 participants) were successfully registered for the event. At the registration desk, participants’ attendance was recorded and forwarded to Breakfast and tea.
INAUGRATION:
The Inauguration Ceremony of the State Level Technical Quiz Competition commenced with a warm welcome extended to the Chief Guests, Patrons, and delegates. Dr. Somnath Vibhute welcomed all participants, guests, dignitaries, and staff members of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana.
The event was graced by Mr. Gajanan Ghirke, Assistant Commissioner, FDA Buldana & Washim as the Chief Guest. Mr. Ganesh Bangale , Head of DIC MSPC, Maharashtra as Guest of Honor, Dr. Shirish Jain Principal Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana as presided over the function. The inauguration was attended by Jury members, Principals, Head of departments (HODs), and Faculty members from various pharmacy institutes. The ceremony began with the traditional Saraswati Poojan, performed by all dignitaries on the dais. Miss. Meena Bhalke, Programme Coordinator, delivered the introductory speech, outlining the rules and regulations of the competition and explaining the rationale behind organizing this event. The Chief Guest & Guest of Honor elaborated on the role of MSBTE in the holistic development of students, aiming to enhance their skills, knowledge, and confidence. Dr. Shirish Jain Principal highlighted the Istitutions progress and achievements. Following this, provided a brief history of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana & address the participants for quiz competition. The Inauguration Ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Somnath Vibhute.
ROUND 1: SCREENING TEST
A total of 24 teams participated in the Screening Test (Round 1). Based on performance, the top 15 teams were selected for the next round.
ROUND 2: PHARMACY KNOWLEDGE (VISUAL ROUND)
The top 15 teams participated in the visual round. Each team was called individually and asked to select a question number from the screen. The selected question appeared, and the team had one minute to answer. After answering, they selected another number for a spotting question, where they had to identify a specific spot. The jury awarded 10 points for each correct answer. Based on their performance, the top 11 teams were selected for the next round.
ROUND 3: RAPID FIRE ROUND
Each team had only 2 minutes to answer up to 10 questions. If they didn’t know the answer, they had to say “Pass” to move to the next question. Each team was called individually and asked rapid-fire questions. For each correct answer, the team was awarded 10 marks. Based on their performance, the top 5 teams were selected for the final round.
ROUND 4: ONLINE QUIZZIZ ROUND
The final round of the competition was conducted online using the Quizizz platform. A demo round was held to ensure that each team was well acquainted with the platform. A total of 15 objective-type questions were added to Quizizz, and teams had to select the correct answer within the allotted time for each question. Teams were automatically graded based on both the accuracy of their answers and the time taken to respond. The top three winners were directly declared through the platform, based on their performance and response speed. The participants who answered correctly in the shortest time were selected as winners. The names of the winners were automatically displayed on the screen with music.

Participants and faculty members shared their feedback, expressing satisfaction with the smooth execution of the event. Dr. Somnath Vibhute then announced the winners, who were awarded prize money and certificates.
