National Service Scheme Team of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana organized an important program under “Swachhata Hi Seva”. In this program all NSS volunteers took oath of cleanliness in the college and left for Shramdana in the premises of Sharada Dnyanpith, Buldhana.
A rally was organized to create public awareness for Plastic waste cleanliness. On reaching the Shramdan site, the plastic waste accumulated in the school premises was collected. The volunteers systematically collected the garbage from all corners and completely cleaned the premises in just a few hours.
The collected waste was duly sent to the municipal waste disposal committee. Principal of Sharada Dnyanpeeth Mrs. Antarkar Madam and Shri. Deshpande sir appreciated this work. College Principal Dr. Shirish Jain Sir was present to motivate the volunteers. Prof. Dr. Rohit Salkute( NSS program officer), Prof. Dr. Deepak Bhusari( Co- program officer), Prof. Vaishnavi Patil and all members of the NSS team participated in this program gracefully.
