In remembrance of Dr. Sarwapalli Radhakrushnan and to show affection, respect and gratitude towards teachers, NSS student of college took initiation and organized the teacher’s day programme and celebrated on 5th of September 2018.
This program was inaugurated by the hands of Dr. Dinkar Kale sir, Chief Guest and Principal, Dr. S. P. Jain Sir by Saraswati Poojan & Deep Prajwalan. The guests were welcomed by floral bouquets. Dr. Kale Sir and Principal Sir, addressed the students. Students expressed their respect and gratitude towards teachers. On this occasion Cake cutting ceremony, the self-made greeting cards & various gift were offered to teachers by students and took blessing from teachers.
Student celebrated this as self governance in the college by conducting various academic activities. Senior students took responsibility of teaching in order to show their appreciation to teachers. Teaching ability and other administrative responsibility were keenly observed and evaluated by teachers. At the end of day, in prize distribution ceremony, the students who were good in delivering lectures were felicitated with best teacher award. Some of the teachers shared their views, encouraged and thanked the students for organizing the programme which was concluded with vote of thanks, followed by breakfast.
