The Institution Innovation Council of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy Buldana recently organized a highly successful workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPRS) and IP management for start-up” on March 30, 2024. Attended by over 150 participants, including students, faculty members, and IIC members, the event proved to be both informative and engaging. Miss Prachi chopde , the student coordinator, commenced the session with a warm welcome extended to all attendees and the distinguished guest speaker. Prof. Amruta Sapate, Assistant professor from Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi.
Prof. Sapate delved into the intricacies of intellectual property rights. She elucidated the methodology and the diligent efforts involved in developing IPRs, igniting motivation among attendees to contemplate innovative ideas.
During the session, Prof. Sapate engaged the audience in an insightful exercise to explore related literature, enriching their understanding of the subject matter. A well designed power point presentation showcased different theories, copyrights and patents, offering participants a practical insight into the intellectual property and patents. Prof. Sapate also encouraged students to nurture their ideas and foster creativity.
The session culminated with a vibrant question and answer segment, enabling participants to seek clarification on prototype design and development methodologies. Miss. Prachi chopde, in his role as a student coordinator, extended a vote of thanks to all involved in making the event a resounding success. The coordination of the event was overseen by Dr. D. V. Bhusari, with the support of Principal Dr. S. P. Jain and IIC coordinator Dr. Shailesh Kewatkar. Their collective efforts ensured the seamless execution of the workshop, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
The workshop not only provided valuable insights into prototype development but also served as a platform to foster innovation and creativity among students and faculty members alike. It exemplified Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy’s commitment to promoting excellence in education and research.
