Third National cGMP Day

The Third National cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm to create awareness about the significance of cGMP among pharmacy  students.

The program began with an introduction to the objective of the celebration by Prof. Satish Shelke who highlighted the importance of cGMP in ensuring product quality and safety in the pharmaceutical industry.

Prof. Rushikesh Diware delivered an insightful talk on the role of cGMP in the pharma industry, explaining how adherence to these standards contributes to the integrity and reliability of pharmaceutical products.

Principal Dr. Shirish Jain addressed the students and emphasized the importance of understanding and implementing cGMP principles. He encouraged students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills during their academic journey to become competent professionals in the pharmaceutical sector.

Postgraduate students — Mr. Aniket Tompe, Mr. Sarang Darokar, Miss Shruti Sonune, and B Pharm Students  Miss Vaishnavi Mesare actively participated and expressed their views on the relevance and application of cGMP in today’s industry. Their presentations were highly informative and engaging.

As part of the celebration, Prof. Manisha Jawale madam give the pladge of Pharmaceutical Sciences Students’ Pledge of Professional Conduct, administered as per the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA) guidelines. This pledge reaffirmed their commitment to uphold ethical standards, professional integrity, and quality consciousness in their future professional endeavors

The event was hosted by Mr. Pramod Giram, PG student, who also expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants for their contributions to the success of the event. Vice principal Dr Praksh kendre,Dr Somnath Vibhute and all  faculty members were present and appreciated the efforts of the students and organizers. Participants expressed their happiness and shared positive feedback about the activity, acknowledging that it enhanced their understanding of cGMP and its industrial importance.
