Virtual Session on “How to Plan for Start-up and Legal & Ethical Steps”

Under the visionary leadership of Principal Dr. Shirish Jain, the Career Development Cell led by Dr. Somnath Swami Vibhute, in collaboration IQAC and IIC, organized a virtual session on “How to Plan for Start-up and Legal & Ethical Steps.” The session aimed to foster entrepreneurial thinking among students while providing insights into the legal and ethical considerations essential for launching start-ups. Vice-principal and IQAC Head Dr. Prakash Kendre welcomed resource person- Mr. Rajiv Jawale, Director of SaiMaa Seeds Pvt. Ltd., Nashik. Mr. Jawale delivered a comprehensive and practical overview of the entrepreneurial journey. He discussed crucial aspects such as idea validation, business model development, and market identification.
Mr. Jawale also explained the various types of business structures including proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, and private limited companies, emphasizing the importance of legal compliance—covering registration, taxation, and intellectual property protection through patents and trademarks. Additionally, he highlighted the ethical responsibilities of entrepreneurs, including integrity, transparency, and social accountability.
Encouraging students to utilize platforms like IICs, incubation centers, and Startup India, he motivated them to turn innovative ideas into sustainable ventures. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, where Mr. Jawale addressed questions related to funding and regulatory challenges.
The event was well-received, with PG student Rushikesh Ubale hosting and Mr. Aniket Tompe delivering the vote of thanks.
