Online Session on “Innovation/Prototype Validation – Converting Innovation into a Start-up”

Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldana’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC), organized an expert talk on “Innovation/Prototype Validation- Converting Innovation into a Start-up” for B. Pharm and M. Pharm students. The event was inaugurated by the respected Vice-principal, Dr. Prakash Kendre, who welcomed the expert speaker, Miss Asha Hole, a highly driven IPR practitioner with 13 years of experience in IP law.

Miss Asha Hole began her talk by discussing the journey of an academic project, to illustrate the practical steps involved in transforming an innovative idea into a market-ready product. She elaborated on the importance of filing IP to protect innovations and detailed the various stages from innovation to market entry. Miss Hole explained how an IPR-driven R&D setup can enhance the development process, and how maintaining a robust IPR portfolio can provide competitive advantages. She also clarified related terms and concepts, providing students with a thorough understanding of the role of IP in the startup ecosystem.Throughout the session, Miss Hole emphasized the value of proper IP management and how it can support the successful commercialization of innovative products.

The M. Pharm students expressed their gratitude to Miss Hole for her practical insights and the motivation to pursue their own innovative ideas within the startup ecosystem. Overall, the program was successful in achieving its objectives, providing valuable knowledge and inspiration to the participants.
