Pollution remains a pressing global issue, negatively impacting the environment and posing threats to all life on Earth. Recognizing the urgency of addressing this man-made problem, National Pollution Prevention Day was observed with great enthusiasm at Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy, Buldhana.
As part of the observance, a Poster Presentation Competition was organized under the theme, “Adopting Sustainable Options in Day-to-Day Life”, aimed at raising awareness about practical solutions to reduce pollution. The event witnessed active participation from B. Pharm students, who showcased a total of 11 creative and thought-provoking posters. The posters highlighted various sustainable practices to minimize pollution and foster an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The event drew significant engagement as many students, faculty members, and staff visited the poster presentations, appreciating the innovative ideas and committing to adopting sustainable measures in their daily lives.
The initiative was guided and promoted by the esteemed Principal, Dr. S. P. Jain, whose encouragement contributed to the success of the event. The posters were evaluated by Assistant Professors Miss Snehal Deshmane and Miss Rupali Dhane, who commended the students’ efforts. The program was coordinated and organized efficiently by Assistant Professor Miss Vaishnavi Patil and NSS Unit of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy.
This event served as a valuable platform to spread awareness about environmental conservation and emphasized the importance of individual contributions toward building a healthier and sustainable future.
