The festival of Uttarayan marks the day when winter begins to turn into summer, according to the Indian calendar. It is the sign for farmers that the sun is back and that harvest season is approaching which is called Makar Sankranti. This day is considered to be one of the most important harvest day in India. Kites Fest was organised in our campus with kind permission of Principal Dr. S. P. Jain Sir. This program was arranged in our campus ground and various categorised entry of student were taken for Best Kite Decoration, Best Kite Height, Best Kite Fight which was judge & evaluated by Dr. Kendre Sir, Dr. Khobragade Sir, Dr. Kewatkar Sir, Dr. Telange Sir, Mr. Chacolkar Sir, Miss Redasni Madam for different category. Every student enjoyed this event by taking active participation. Kite stall was arranged in the college canteen for student for this event. This program was host by Hanuman Nikam & Ashwini Pawar student of B-Pharm 3rd year. Mr. S. Vibhute Sir and Mr. M. N Deokar Sir invoked the student on this occasion. Result for this event of various category was announced by Dr. P. Kendre & Finally program was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. S. D. Tayde. This program was completely organised under inchargeship of Dr. V. N. Sancheti & Miss M. Balke Madam with their student council members.
