The “Vanmahotsava” is the great social event conducted every year in the institute under the NSS activity by planting trees in the college campus. The main purpose of this tree plantation to creat awareness about the importance of plant in our life & to maintain the environmental balance.
The forest Dept. of Maharashtra Govt. decided the the Target of plantation is 33 Cr. for the year 2019. By keeping this thing in mind institute has decided to plant different species of plant in the college.
Inauguration of the plantation were done by the plantation neem tree by the hand of Principal Dr. S.P. Jain Sir, the HOD of P’ceutics Dr. P. N. Kendre, HOD of Pharmacognocy Dr. S.M. Kewatkar & HOD of Chemistry Dr. Borkar were present.
Principal Dr. S.P. Jain Sir addressed to the students about the importance of tree in our life & explain how it is integral part of lifecycle. On this occasion Neem, Karanj, Saptaparni, Wad & Bendphal tree were planted by the hand of all Staff members & students.
In this plantation program Mr. Y. B. Ubarhande NSS Program Officer, all teaching staff and non-teaching staff, NSS volunteer were present for program.
