On December 2nd, World Computer Literacy Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy. The event emphasized the significant role of computers in pharmacy and explored the various career opportunities they offer.
As part of the celebration, a lecture was organized for B.Pharm 1st and 2nd-year students. The session was designed to be both informative and engaging, covering essential topics such as the importance of computer hardware, including RAM and SSDs, and their role in modern technology. It also delved into recent technological advancements and their applications in pharmacy and healthcare. The lecture highlighted the importance of maintaining proper hygiene in computer labs to ensure a safe and clean environment. Additionally, it offered guidance on setting up personal computers and selecting the necessary gadgets to enhance functionality.
The lecture was delivered by Prof. Rohit Salkute and Mr. Shivam Rinde, who shared their knowledge and insights, enriching the students’ understanding of the subject.
