Department of Pharmacology
The department is having highly dedicated, qualified and experienced staff actively involved in research at UG, PG and Ph.D. levels. This is unique place to disseminate the upgraded information on the molecular basis of some of the diseases which are challenge to society till date. We strive to bridge the gap between modern science and traditional knowledge through up graded skills and techniques in the research. The laboratories are very well equipped and enriched with ultra-modern facilities designed according to the norms of statutory body. The sophisticated instruments available with us are Auto-analyzer, BIOPAC, Cooling centrifuge, Plethysmometer (Hugo-Basile,Italy) , analytical balance etc. The department is involved in active research at molecular level in preclinical screening of lead molecules from synthetic as well as natural origin.
